Production Update – Assembly

We are excited to inform you that your SC574 is now in Assembly stage.

Detailing jobs for transom steps and cockpit seat are finished. The bulkhead in port mid-ship was also installed. Our Assembly Team also trimmed the port side head, hatch lids, bulkhead inside fuel locker. Bunk cleat and bunk base were also on the boat.

At the moment, the team is installing the water unit for the cockpit tank, cutting the toilet cover and door wall.

Production Update – Fit out

Your SC573 is taking some progress in fit out stage.

We have done the jobs of the hardtop rood, small hatch lids and detailing port head. Deck hatch lids were trimmed and pre-fitted. The team also repaired non-skid on hardtop, helm station, small fiberglass parts. Oil tank was cleaned and installed the equipment. In addition, pipes were also connected for water equipment.

At the moment, we are working on the ventilated glass windows, solar panels, steering wheel and daggerboard. Deck fittings are being installed step by step, as well as the water system. The team is doing the mounting for oil tanks and waste tanks, also installing the drainage device for oil tank.

Production Update – Fit out

Your SC572 now has significant progress in the fit out stage.

Mast and boom components were well-painted. Steering system are being installed and finished soon. Base bracket for washing machine, compass and all fittings for fuel system have also been installed.

At the moment, our Production Team is working on installing the lid, the second anchor, liferaft box, mast’s fittings, accumulator tanks and finishing the remaining plumbing works. The boat is completing steps by steps to get to the final stage soon.

We are excited to announce that your boat is now completed and left our factory to the storage yard.

Production Update – Fit out

Your boat has been progressing well in the fit-out stage.

As you can see, almost the main installation has been completed including the plumbing, rudders, all Lewmar hatches, companionway flooring, galley benchtops, airconditioning, composites deck hatches, forward beam and helm seats.

Currently, we are working on forward bunk lines and deck gear (75%). Same as Ms. Van used to tell you last week, because of global supply chain issues, we have rescheduled the completion date to the first week of June. We will keep you posted if there are any changes to this new date.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience due to this delay.

Production Update – Fit out

Your boat is progressing well in the first phase of fitting out.

At this point, the steering has been completed and we are working on windows installation, Lewmar hatches, antifouling, electric installations (50%), engine room fitout, and deck gear (50%). Also, we are preparing for timber kit installations.

Your boat is progressing well in her final days of the fit-out stage.

Currently, we are painting the forward beam, preparing the interior for fit-out works, and installing underwater lights, daggerboards, and the mast base. In addition, the mast had been painted, ready to install hardware.

However, due to the global supply chain issue, we have quite a few missing parts that either pending for delivery date from supplier or arrived much later than we planned. We currently reschedule completion date for your hull on the first week of May but we will keep you updated if there are any changes to this schedule.

Production Update – Lamination

An exciting journey has started. Your boat is making progress in the first stage of production – lamination.

At this point, the deck has been done and demoulded early while the hull is in the lamination process as per schedule. Once both the hull and deck are completed, they will be moved to Seawind shed for the assembly stage.

Your boat has been moved to the new stage after assembly – fitting out.

Most of the work on the boat had been completed including all windows installation, solar panels, rudder & steering, plumbing, and helm windows.
Currently, we are working on antifouling, deck gear (75%), bunk headliners, and trifold door.
