Congratulations – Meerkat is on her way!

Your Seawind 1600 has been completed, and is all wrapped up. A quick tour of the boat can be viewed via this Youtube video. Meerkat is going to be loaded on the vessel today and will head to Vancouver, Canada.

Production Update – Lamination

Hull is now in its final stage of Lamination with some final touching up before it is moved to our Seawind shed. Deck is completed with the Lamination. It is scheduled for both deck and hull to be moved to the Seawind shed on Monday 23rd November for the deck joining to begin.

Production Update – Assembly

Deck joining took place on time on 4th November. Internal glass works are completed. Engines are installed. We are currently working on targa bench gelcoat fairing, flowcoat on fwd deck lockers, trampoline flange and bow join fairing. Boat is on schedule.

Production Update – Assembly 2

Deck joining took place on 28th September. Jobs are now completed for the trampoline flange, cockpit drains, helm seats, rudder bearings, galley benchtop, window liners, and deck hatches installation. We are now working on plumbing (50% done), carpet, watermaker installation, Lewmar hatches, and starting with deck gear.

Production Update – Fitout 1

Jobs have now been completed on rudder/steering system, all Lewmar hatches installation, deck gear, galley benchtop, window liners, fwd opening windows, and trampoline installation. We are working on antifoul preparation, settee backs, aircon, and plumbing. Electric works has just been started.

Production Update – Assembly 1

The boat has now progressed to her first Assembly stage. Deck was moved to our Seawind shed on 12th November, and first handover check was done on the same day. Hull is currently stored at our warehouse in Navioil port in order to keep our driveway free for the moving of the Seawind 1600. Hull is planned to be transported back to the Seawind shed on Monday morning on 23rd November for the deck joining to begin.

Production Update – Fitout 2

Jobs have been completed on all windows, plumbing, headliners, galley, aircon, deck gear, and Flexiteak. We are currently working on door frames, joinery, electric installations (50% completed). Some critical parts will soon arrive for installation such as Mastervolt parts, hydro-generator parts and life raft.

Production Update – Assembly 2

This is a Seawind 1190 Lite which means she has a Seawind 1160 targa bar, interior and rigging. Deck joining took place as planned on 23rd November, 2020. We have just started with Assembly 2 works including carpet, trimming deck hatches, and trampoline installation. Boat is on time.

Production Update – Fitout 1

This is the first Seawind 1190 Sport with Inboard engines. Jobs have been completed on the helm seats, all Lewmar hatches installation, carpet, fwd opening windows, anchor, trampoline, and bulkhead Laminex. We are currently working on steering, deck gear, helm windows, starting plumbing and electrics.
