Production Update – Completion

We are excited to announce that S/V Dancing Bear is now completed and left our factory to the port ready for shipping.

Production Update – Detailing

Your boat is coming close to her finishing line with the following progress being made:

Exterior: final finishing up on the deck fitouts with steering wheels, helm stations and helm seats installed, hardtop supports in place, and the cockpit table will soon be fitted. The granola cockpit flooring is going to be installed in the next few weeks.

Interior: all the cabins have been more than 80% completed. The outstanding works include fitting the roof panels, window liners, companion way steps, wardrobe, and little details like shelves, doors and locksets, hand rails, shower screen etc.

The saloon galley has been made a huge progress with all galley cabinets, Staron bench top, navigation station, and TV cabinets installed. The fitting of faucets, taps and the window blinds will soon start.

Engineering: the steering system is 90% completed with rudders and rudder cases are to be fitted. The electrical team is working hard to get the electrical wiring done in all cabins. The battery/inverter set up is finished. Navigation desk, TV entertainment system and air-conditioning electricals are 75% done.

Production Update – Fit out 2

Your boat is now entering her very final phase of the Fit out 2.

Engineering team is going to finish the sinks and faucets installation once the benchtops are ready. The timber fit-out team has pre-cut the saloon flooring according to the marked location and has the parts ready and stored in our container for installation later.

We have our painting team coming back to work and our spray booth is almost completed, so any outstanding works should be finished very quickly in the coming weeks.

The upholstery team has started work on the forward clears.

Production Update – Fitout 2

We are back with the production update this month knowing that you have been curious about the progress of your boat in our factory these days.

As you have already known that we’re now working with a small team to follow all the Covid-19 restrictions. However, there has been quite some significant progress you can see in the pictures below.

Exterior: We have already done with detailing and polishing both port and starboard hull. Hull sides and saloon windows have also been installed. Helm seats are in place and under some more detailing works. We also have the main cabin door and trampoline fitted. Deck hardware, longeron, and hardtop have also been installed. The solar panels are dry-fitted on the hardtop and saloon roof at the moment. The mast and boom have been painted and ready for fitting equipment.

Interior: We have fitted Flexiteak flooring in both bathrooms and the upholstery team has cut the vinyl cockpit flooring. The wiring harness for both port and starboard hull has been completed. The air conditioner has also been installed. We’re now working on electrical wiring, galley and saloon settee, cabin and saloon headliner, and hot water system.

Production Update – Fitout 2

Fitout 2 stage is ongoing with new progress:

Exterior: hull and painting jobs are now 100% completed. Deck fit outs are 90% installed. All windows on deck are now in. Targa roof is scheduled to be installed very soon.

Interior: all the after cabins are being progressed smoothly – std and fwd cabins are 80% done. We will soon start on the port forward cabin. Starboard forward toilet has the plumbing system in place and the toilet is 20% completed.

Engineering: plumbing work is now completed. Daggerboard system is 90% finished. Works are being carried out on the steering system and anchoring system and have been done by 70%.

Upholstery job is started for the saloon, galley and std fwd bathroom.

Production Update – Fit out 2

Your boat is progressing well in the second phase of fitting out.

The mast, boom, and forward beam have been painted. Holding tanks have been installed and panels for the hardtop are also completed. Our woodshop is working on the port forward bunk and the port aft cabin double bed option. Most of the cabinets have been pre-fitted and removed for varnish work.

We’re planning to start with engine installation this week. We’re also expecting to work on the hull windows around the 20th of June.

Production Update – Fit out 2

Your boat doing well moving forward to the second phase of fitting out.

We’re done with detailing the hull, midship, and starboard forward head. Painting jobs, plumbing, daggerboard, steering system, and starboard aft cabin are 70 – 80% completed. We are halfway towards the deck fitting out and glass window on deck installation.

We’ve also started to work on the saloon galley and anchor system. Currently, we are working on tank testing, fitting longeron and crossbeam, and mast painting.

Production Update – Fit out 1

Your boat is progressing well in the last days of fit out 1.

We are 90% done with detailing the hull. Plumbing is done at 70%. Painting jobs, upholstery, daggerboard system are halfway done. We are also making progress in working on cabins, head, and steering system.
