Production Update – Completion

We’re excited to announce that Hallaway is now completed and just left our factory today.

Please see below for some photos of the boat before it’s being wrapped up for shipping. Let us also take you on a tour around your boat via this Youtube video. One small remark, this has been done before the second helm seat was installed so you won’t see it here. However, please rest knowing that it’s now on your boat.

We’ll follow up with the invoice and shipment documents once we get them from the carrier. Usually, that comes after the boat left our factory, so we will send the documents to you in the next 2 or 3 days.

It has been a pleasure building this boat for you and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1190 Sport.

Production Update – Fit out 2

Your boat is doing well moving forward to the fit out 2 stage.

We have done with antifouling, all windows are installed (and curing), deck gear, solar panels, all flooring, and freezer are in place.

Currently, we are working on steering, Webasto hot water system and about to install genset underneath the port aft bank.

Production Update – Fit out 1

Your boat is progressing well halfway through fit out 1.

We have done with trampoline, antifoul preparation, Lewmar deck hatches and all composite hatches. Currently, we are working on helm seats, bulkhead panels laminate, thru-hulls and deck gear installation.

Production Update – Fit out 1

The production of your boat is going well, now we are in the stage after assembly – Fit out 1.

The first steps in this fit out stage were carried out, jobs completed include anchor roller, trampoline, and composite deck hatches. Now we have moved forward to work on hull gelcoat repairs, bulkhead laminate panels, and carpet works.

Production Update – Assembly 1

Your boat construction is finished at lamination and has just moved on to the next stage – assembly. Hull arrived at Seawind shed for deck joining on 28th December 2019. Sport transom extension had been completed as well as bow glassing and fairing works.

Currently, we are working on completing interior glassworks, transom fairing, and trampoline flange.

Production Update – Lamination

There has been some progress since we last updated you on the status of your boat. It is now almost in the final stage of lamination. Deck is now doing IGU and still being kept in mold. Meanwhile, hull will soon be handed over to Seawind shed.
