Production Update – Completion

We are excited to announce that Makani Olu is now completed and left our factory to the storage yard.

Please see below for some photos of the boat in her final days before being wrapped up. Let us also take you on a tour around your boat via this Youtube video.

It has been a pleasure building your boat and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1260.

Production Update – Detailing & QA

Your boat has entered the Detailing and QA stage.

Most of the work on the boat had been completed including antifouling, all windows, steering, all deck gear, all Lewmar hatches, plumbing, helm windows, aircon, and all flooring.

Currently, we are installing timber/fitout, and doing electric system installations (50%).

Production Update – Fit out

Your boat has already entered the new stage after assembly – fitting out.

At this point, we have had the rudder installed, deck gear, composite deck hatches, companionway flooring, helm windows, window liners, forward-opening windows, and solar panels installed.

The ongoing tasks these days include A-frame installation, plumbing (50% done), forward bunk headliners, exhaust system, and antifoul preparation.

Production Update – Lamination

An exciting journey has started. Your boat is making progress in the first stage of production – lamination.

Both hull and deck are at the IGU phase in the lamination shed. We plan to have the hull demolded this week and continue with the deck shortly after.
