Production update – Completion

We are excited to announce that your boat is now completed and left our factory to the storage yard.

Please see below for some photos of the boat in her final days before being wrapped up. Let us also take you on a tour around your boat via Youtube video.

It has been a pleasure building your boat and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1260.

Production Update – Detailing & QA

Your boat has entered the Detailing and QA stage.

Until now, we have done many main tasks to complete the boat including antifouling, all windows installation, deck hatches, deck gear, all interior flooring, plumbing, galley benchtops, stove & oven, forward bunk headliners, solar panels and cookout BBQ.

Currently, we are doing timber fit out, steering system, and electric installations (75%).

However, due to the global supply chain issue, we have quite a few missing parts that either pending for delivery date from the supplier or arrived later than we planned. We currently reschedule the completion date for your hull on the last week of April but we will keep you updated if there are any changes to this schedule.

Production Update – Fit out

Your boat has been moved to the new stage after assembly – fitting out.

Most of the work on the boat had been completed including all windows installation, solar panels, rudder & steering, plumbing, and helm windows.
Currently, we are working on antifouling, deck gear (75%), bunk headliners, and trifold door.

Production Update – Assembly

Your boat has now entered the next stage after Lamination – Assembly.

After the deck and hull arrived at Seawind shed, the deck joining was done on November 24th. Some parts have been done including rudders installed, flowcoat, and blacks on the hardtop.

Currently, we are working on steering tiller installation, deck hatch trimming, and thru-hulls trimming.

Production Update – Lamination

Your boat has made significant progress in the Lamination shed.

Both deck and hull are now completed and waiting to be moved to the Seawind shed on November 14th. Currently, in the meantime, we are working already on the Targa seat and Targa roof.

Production Update – Lamination

An exciting journey has just started. Your boat has been progressing well in our lamination shed.

We are laminating both hull and deck in the lamination shed. The deck is being laid up with dry fibre while the hull has already been infused.
