Production update – Completion

We are excited to announce that your boat is now completed and left our factory to the storage yard.

Please see below for some photos of the boat in her final days before being wrapped up. Let us also take you on a tour around your boat via this Youtube video.

It has been a pleasure building your boat and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1260.

Production Update – Detailing & QA

Your boat has entered the Detailing and QA stage.

Now we have done almost main tasks to have the boat completed including all window glass installation, antifouling, all Lewmar batches, flexiteek, all deck gear, solar panel, trampolines, windlass, all interior flooring and plumbing.
At this stage, we are working on Mastervolt alternators, and forward bunk headliners and the electric works have just started.
Besides, a few remaining parts are coming later than we expected. That is the reason why the estimated completion date has to be rescheduled to the first week of June instead of the third week of April as we mentioned in the previous update.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Production Update – Fit out

Your boat has been moved to the new stage after assembly – fitting out.

Most of the work on the boat had been completed including rudders installation, solar panels, composite deck hatches, window liners, carpet works, heating system, and companionway flooring.

At this point, we are working on the trampoline flange, cockpit drains, deck gear, bunk headliners, and plumbing (50%). However, due to the global supply chain issue, we have quite a few missing parts that either pending for delivery date from supplier or arrived later that we planned. We currently reschedule the completion date for your boat on the third week of April but we will keep you updated if there are any changes to this schedule.

Production Update – Assembly

Your boat is progressing well in the assembly stage.

After the handover from lamination on September 15th, the deck joining started on December 23rd. Targa bar and roof had been installed on deck.

Currently, we are completing the deck joining process and installing the targa bench.

Production Update – Lamination

An exciting journey has started. Your boat is making progress in the first stage of production – lamination.

The deck has been completed, the team is just finishing up their work and getting the deck ready to be delivered to Seawind shed for assembly. Meanwhile, we are doing IGU on the hull and also expect to have it done shortly for assembly.
