Production update – Completion

We are excited to announce that Solid Air is now completed and left our factory to the storage yard.

Please see below for some photos of the boat in her final days before being wrapped up. Let us also take you on a tour around your boat via this Youtube video.

It has been a pleasure building your boat and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1260.

Production Update – Detailing & QA

Your boat has been progressing well in the Detailing & QA stage.

Besides the main parts that have been completed from the last update, we have recently done installation on the BBQ, steering, helm windows, complete plumbing, freezer, and solar panel bracket at this stage.

We’re now working on deck gear (75% done), companionway headliners, and electric works (cable loom).

Production Update – Fit out

Your boat has been moved to the new stage after assembly – fitting out.

At this point, we have done some main tasks including Lewmar hatches, trampoline, forward opening windows, galley benchtop, window liners, companionway floorings, and carpet works.

Now, we’re working on deck gear (50% done), helm seats, windows installation, composite hatches, steering (75%), plumbing (75%), bunk headliners, and antifouling works.

Production Update – Assembly

Your boat has now entered the next stage after Lamination – Assembly.

After the deck and hull arrived at Seawind shed, the deck joining was done on April 26th.

Currently, we are working on Laminex bulkheads, thru-hulls and the early stage of plumbing works.
