It has been a pleasure building your boat and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1160 Lite.
Your boat has entered the Detailing and QA stage.
At this point, we have finished with all windows installations, antifouling, deck gear, BBQ, helm windows, all interior floorings, and all plumbing.
Currently, we are working on Lewmar deck hatches, electric systems (75%), shower glass, timber fitout, and freezer benchtop.
However, due to the global supply chain issue, we have quite a few missing parts that either pending for delivery date from the supplier or arrived later than we planned. We currently reschedule the completion date for your hull on the third week of March but we will keep you updated if there are any changes to this schedule.
Your boat has now entered the new stage after assembly – fitting-out.
Most of the work on the boat had been completed including antifoul preparation, rudder and steering tiler, composite deck hatches, Targa infill with BBQ, galley benchtop, companionway flooring, window liners, bulkhead laminex, and carpet works.
Currently, we are working on window glass bonding, deck gear (50%), and plumbing (75%).
Your boat has now entered the next stage after lamination – assembly.
Hull and deck were delivered from the Lamination team on October 12th. The deck joining was completed by October 21st. The boat will be moved to the assembly 2 station this week to get ready for the next steps in the second phase of assembly.
An exciting journey has started. Your boat is making progress in the first stage of production – lamination.
The deck has already been infused as you can see in the photos below. We will also start working on the hull shortly this week.
