We are excited to announce that Summer Winds is now completed and left our factory to the storage yard.

Please see below for some photos of the boat in her final days before being wrapped up. Let us also take you on a tour around your boat via this YouTube video.

It has been a pleasure building your boat and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1190 Sport.

Production Update – Detailing & QA

Your boat has been progressing well in the Detailing & QA stage.

We have recently done some other main tasks to get the boat closer to completion comprised of antifoul preparation, targa seat, all windows and hatches, all deck gear, all interior flooring, and galley benchtop.

Currently, we’re working on electric installations (75% done), the remaining plumbing (90% done), steering system, freezer, helm seats, and fuel tank installation.

Production Update – Fit out

Your boat has been moved to the new stage – fitting out.

At this stage, there are a few critical parts that have been done such as targa seat, solar bracket, trampolines, bulkhead laminex, chainplates, and Lewmar side hatches.

Currently, we’re working on window liners, helm seats, and carpet works. At the same time, the work on daggerboards and case assembly has also started.

Production Update – Assembly

Your boat has now entered the next stage after Lamination – Assembly.

The deck joining took place on 28th August. At this stage, the Targa bar and roof have been installed. Also, the engine pods and all internal glass works have been completed recently.

Currently, we’re working on transom extension/steps gelcoat repairs.
