Production Update – Completion

We are excited to announce that In Too Deep is now completed and left our factory to the storage yard.

Please see below for some photos of the boat in her final days before being shipped. Let us also take you on a tour around your boat via this Youtube video.

It has been a pleasure building your boat and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1160 Lite.

Production Update – Detailing & QA

Your boat is progressing well in the Detailing & QA stage.

The boat has recently been equipped with some critical parts to get closer to completion such as antifouling, all solar, all deck gear, plumbing, helm windows, mast base, and deck hatches.

Currently, we’re working on the electric system (50% done), and steering (75% done).

Production Update – Fit out

Since the last update, your boat is now in the Fit-out stage where we have started to work on the key parts and the preparations before the boat goes to the QA & Detailing stage.

The engines had been installed after deck joining. Recently, we have had some critical parts done including thru-hulls, targa-infill, bulkhead Laminex, galley bench top, carpet works, window liners, composite deck hatches, and trampoline.

Currently, we’re working on stainless deck gear, and Lewmar hatches.

Production Update – Assembly

Your boat has now entered the next stage after Lamination – Assembly.

The deck joining has just taken place. At this stage, the engines will be installed and the flowcoat works will be started.

We are now working on internal glass works, transom gelcoat and preparing for the window blacks.

Production Update – Lamination

Your boat has made significant progress in the Lamination.

At this stage, both hull and deck have been demoulded and they are being completed with some detailed gelcoat works.

Currently, our team is also working on some other preparations for deck joining which will take place in the next stage.
