It has been a pleasure building your boat and on behalf of the entire team at Seawind Catamarans, we wish you many years of fun-filled enjoyment aboard your new Seawind 1160 Lite.
We are currently advancing through the Detailing & QA stage of your SW1160 Lite.
Recent works that have been completed on the boat include the installation of forward opening windows, application of antifouling, fitting of the trifold door, and completion of all solar panel installations, interior flooring, and plumbing.
At present, we are focusing on electric installation, which is 90% complete, and the timber fitout, which is 75% finished. Additionally, we are working on installing the fridge/freezer and stove, preparing for the Flexiteek installation, and addressing various detailing tasks to ensure everything meets our quality standards.
The current status shows that your boat is progressing well in the Detailing & QA stage.
The boat has recently been equipped with some critical parts to get closer to completion including rudders, antifoul preparation, all windows, all deck gear, aircon unit, freezer, trampoline.
We’re now doing bunk headliners surround, companion way flooring, electric installation (50% done), plumbing near completion, and working on trifold door.
Your boat has been moved to the new stage – fitting out.
Recently, a few parts on the boat have been completed including galley bench top, Laminex bulkheads, and trampoline flange with ferrules.
Currently, we’re doing through-hulls, window liners, and interior composite parts.
Your boat has entered the Assembly stage.
Deck joining took place on April 15th. Currently, we’re working on trimming composite deck hatches and installing small interior composite parts. Also, the thru-hull work has been started recently.
An exciting journey has just started. Your boat has been progressing well in the lamination stage.
Both hull and deck are being laid up fibre. The infusion process will commence on both hull and deck shortly. After the deck and hull are demoulded, they will be moved to another step for deck joining.
